Jamie has a problem. Today she was chatting with her friend Karyn online, and she wrote about herself in the third person without realizing it right away. It was so wrong! (And funny… it made her laugh out loud in her cubicle like a dork.)
What’s next??? Talking with someone about herself in the third person? That would be even worse. If that happens unintentionally, she may need to give up Facebook for a while to learn how to speak English again. For now, she really needs to learn how to write and think about herself in the first person. Maybe she’ll give us an update soon as to how it’s going.
The REAL sign of the problem is when one blogs about oneself in te third person.
ReplyDeleteYes, I guess you're right. She will now join an addiction group to help her deal with this serious issue in her life.
ReplyDeleteKaryn was so taken aback that she checked Jamie's facebook status to see if she had cut and pasted what she had said from there.
ReplyDeleteChris thinks that's funny.
