Thumbs

I know there's some sort of saying about how you don't need something until it's gone, but I can't remember it. I'm experiencing it though.
A couple weeks ago I hurt one of my thumbs while playing in some snow (not the smartest move), and it totally still hurts. I'm now much more aware of how important my thumbs are and how often I stinking use them. They actually play a huge role in my life that I have taken advantage of for way too long. I think I should give them a little more appreciation from now on.
